I would say USC...you have to compare Duke to a hated team that actually wins games. :D

I had Baylor going to the final4 in all my brackets, they were/are a very good team. They are losing Tweety Carter though, I think. He had 0 t/o before the Duke game (Not even sure he had one in that game) for the tourny.

only thing I hate about USC is the way the media grabs hold of their collective jocks every season... being so close to ND here in chicago I get the rare privilege of witnessing first hand all the idiot fans talk up there team that sucks...

but I hear what you're saying...

Ah you're right. They lose Carter and Lomers (Lomers being a wash since they are upgrading in the C position to Perry Jones), and I guess Ekpe Udoh if he decides to go pro this year (I think he will be back maybe). Still a great team that will start out right where they left off though for sure.

This is surprising coming from a Notre Dame, Yankees, and Dallas Cowboys fan.

I figured you would love Duke.

I can't see how anyone outside of MSU & Butler's fan base, can look at those 2 teams and say they should be considered "better" teams that several that are knocked out. They got hot, the stars aligned and they wound would up where they are. Things like that happen in single elimination tourneys.

As far as rooting from here on out, I will root for anyone who is playing WVU. They are good & could very easily win it all, but I am hoping not, I can't stand WVU.

I honestly don't care who wins now. I just want good games.

I like every coach and team, with the exception of WVU's Huggins.

No love for Huggie Bear, LOL

I wish Michigan's Beilein could recruit like he did in WV, his players rock in WV;) They suck in MI:cool:

Somewhere the fallacy that the better teams "should" always win is being perpetuated. This is a tournament. Streak....and you may walk out with the trophy.

Who cares who the "best" team is? Who'd best RIGHT NOW? That's all that matters.

Huggs just seems a little shady to me.

He can recruit though, I agree with you.

I suppose you're correct......if you wanna count the 50's in your calcs. Did they even play full court, then?....lol

Actually partner my calculations are exactly correct. UNC = 6 and Duke = 3
