i had a great year, best ever, but now i'm done and have to wait til next season :(. i still have a doe tag for bow, but i can't justify taking another deer since we have plenty of meat. between bow and gun season, we figured we needed 4 deer, we got 7 and 2 were really big, which is why i passed on a few younger bucks, when i could have filled my wife's and fathers tags.
the off season is way too long, even with practice, scouting, shed hunting, it's way way too long :( THIS SUCKS!!!
ok i'm done complaining for now, already looking forward to next bow season

Fill the tag and donate the meat. These are hard times and I'm sure there's a few families out there that would greatly appreciate a thoughtful hunter.
