Yesterday evening I took my bow to the pro shop because i saw some cracks in the top limb. He said vertical cracks are nothing to be concerned with, until he saw a giant crack on the side of the limb. Turns out I need a new bow. And to think I could've been hit in the face with fiberglass. So, now I'm looking into the Mission line, maybe the UX2. Anyone shot/own this? Any feedback is appreciated.

Can't you just buy new limbs? That would much cheaper than buying a new bow.

What bow are you shooting??? Might look at new limbs before getting a new bow. As for what bow to get, there are so many good bows out there, it's ridiculous. I've bought my last several on the AT Classifieds as there is a great selection, and the prices are the best anywhere I've looked.

That does suck, but on the upside, at least you found it before you or anyone else got hurt.

I've actually seen heard guys snipping off small edge of limb splinters, putting a little sandpaper to the spot to smooth it out and going on with themselves. Not something I'd ever do, but I've heard it more than a couple of times.

I agree if the bow was a bow he purchased NEW, it should still be under warranty, and he should get in contact with Browning/PSE.

Since my pro shop is not a Browning dealer he cannot get limbs from them. As for talking to Browning, the bow is too old. It's about five years old so its years are pretty much done.

I agree. PSE builds and owns Browning bows and their warranty stands the same on their bows as well the last i knew. They will take care of you. If you cant get the same limbs theyll get you the upgraded limbs. Its kinda like when my cousin blew his Mach 10 limbs on his PSE and they overnighted the Mach 12 Limbs at no cost to him. It was covered 100% under their lifetime limited warranty.

I'd probably just quit hunting. Take up a sport that you can handle, like Barbies or collecting Jonas Brothers memorabilia.

That is when there is a small sliver coming off the very edge of a limb.I have done it a couple times.

As far as the statement,I hope he was misquoting the shop.
