This guy was 2 years from retirement and gets fired for doing the right thing???? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/05/1...-after-finding-loaded-gun-handing-it-to-cops/
This guy is going to become a whole lot richer than he would if they let him finish out his years to retirement. I bet he has lawyers lined up waiting to talk to him. LOL What a bunch of idiots. They may have some other reason they want to get rid of the bandana wearing employee.... but this isn't the way. I'm sure after he has a lawyer call them and sends them a letter... they're attorneys will be pleading with them to reinstate or reach a settlement before it goes to court.
Yet again another example of how f'd up this country has become! Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
His mistake was not to immediately call the police, instead he "waited" for one to drive by that day. The reality of the situation is that his supervisor should have been fired for not advising his superiors/the police of the situation immediately. Also, if the gun were used in a crime, the scene should have been protected to preserve any evidence the gun might have contained. Also, I nearly 100% guarantee there is more to this story than was reported. The media loves to only present "evidence" that entices people to read/and or get enraged at a subject in order to sell their product. They purposefully leave out facts.
I'm willing to bet you're right. I think the key to this is going to be the supervisor who had knowledge of the situation, that itself can be a loaded statement. How much knowledge and when did he know about it?
Can you say BIGGGGG!!!!! Lawsuit... I thought you could. Right now he's hearing and seeing $$$$$$$$$$$$
Sucks but i doubt there is a lawsuit here. What right got violated? As usual, there has to be more to this story. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Next time one of those groundskeeper guys finds a gun on school property in Detroit, I suggest they just secure it on their person until their work day is over, then drive home with the gun, and then eventually turn it in.
