I'm pretty conservative, not much this president does that I agree with. He has pleasently surprised with a couple decisions but overall, hate his politics and everything he stands for. That being said, I used to watch bill mauer just to see what the other side had to say. But I had to quit watching cause I just think he is an idiot as well as most of his guest, but hey, I tried for a while.

Wow, who cares who's chart it is, we, me the man on the moon cannot know what would have happen without the plan.

    Wow is right;)

Yep Obama lied, do I care? Sure I do and the GOP can get a someone to run with a bit of common sense and can keep it in his pants, I may vote for him.

Right now I have friends who are losing their jobs. The day care my son has been at the last two years is closing. It's run by the school district, nine wonderful people will be out of work june 17th. At least Pakistan will get their 3 billion and oil companies will get there 4 billion. Big corps will get their tax loop holes and all the perks. Like Stossel reported, big Corp are the number one moochers off the governments tit. While small companies the real engine of our economy get zapped with tax after tax.

On the camping front we had to dodge a tornado today, all is good, but it was exciting here for about 5 mins.

You did..............well, at least until you found out it came from Obama. NOW it's meaningless LOL.

You sound a lot like a conservative there man..............except the hatred of success of others. Liberals kill you with those taxes so think about that next time you vote ;)

I'll live with my tax dollars going to a large company that employs thousands of workers, pays billions in taxes and provides a valuable reasonable priced product or service any day opposed to sending it to a 25 year old on unemployment, "disability", Medicaid, and food stamps because they can't figure out how to raise 4 kids with no income.

One contributes to the system and the other is a parasite...........it's a team effort man, anyone not chipping in for the big win gets no sympathy from me.

I'd just like to pint out.. that's an apples to oranges comparison.. since taxes going to educators.. firemen.. policemen etc would have been much more apples to apples.

    I digress.

But.. congrats again on the purchase of what certainly sounds like some cool ground Atlas. Hope you take a few off of it and enjoy it as much as possible.

No problem with education (the educators is another story).........cops and firemen. They all contribute immensely to the system.

I will. Just sent out a feeler to the neighboring land owner. He has another 18 acres that just sits there vacant.......gets no use at all, current home owner has never even met or seen the guy. I could just hunt it and do whatever I want over there but hopefully I can just take it off his hands which would give me 40+ with a nice stream running through it.

He's probably an idiot who is gonna try to hit me up for $100,000 with my luck but I just want to plant a seed in his head and hope the timing is right.

I would like that money to go to the deficit, but I guess some like wealth distribution. I don't want to spend a red cent to ANY company making profits. If they do need money it needs to be a loan, not a bailout.

I am shocked you are for corporate welfare.;)

I think tax breaks to big companies should be used as incentives to keep them from going overseas. Taxes get passed down to the consumer anyway.

I agree with this, but we give tax breaks to send jobs over seas:busted:

Can anyone name me the last administration that cut tax and had a balance budget at the end of the year or his term?

Can anyone name a president who rasied taxes and had a balance budget at the end of the year or term?

I can only think of Clinton, my point is neither way has work to reduce our borrowing.

WOW. I just read every post here and nobody convinced me of anything. Both sides distort the truth to prove their point. Did anyone here have a change in opinion? This supports the saying about not discussing politics or religions.

At least you passed some time....including my time - time well wasted.

See some of you at the GTG.

Not about right or wrong for me, just finding a solution. Good clean debate is good for the soul, I have respect for all members here, even those who "left", which this baby would have whole been a lot more fun:)

The problem with clinton (among others) was he took money out of one hand to put in the other. That didn't work either but he did crack down on welfare but it took the republicans in the house and senate to force his hand on that issue.

Ross perot made it very clear with his charts lol that nafta would do nothing but entice big business to countries like china. looks like he was right about that one.
