Class Warfare..............a reflex rallying cry of the left.

It's OK.......even encouraged to hate someone because they have more then you. No matter how hard they worked to get it.

    It's just not "fair"

So first your truth was Obama really didn't spend that much..............now that you realize that was wrong the new truth is that it was all Bush's fault??

    LOL

Reagan was left a flaming bag of crap by Carter and did he piss and moan about it??...........or did he man up and do something about it??

You sent a community organizer to run your country in difficult times because he could read a teleprompter.

    Own the consequences.

Class warfare is used by both. Note the attacks on union public employees.

When Reagan took over a mess that's exactly what he did and it worked pretty damn well don't ya think?

When are people going to realize that you can't tax your way out of these problems...............you could take all the money people have and it won't run the govt for more then a month or two..........what the hell is another 5% gonna do when only a small percent are paying it and spending is still out of control.

Spending needs to be cut.........across the board and harshly. Medicaid and Medicare are out of control and will bankrupt this country if not reeled in. NOTHING should be off the table for spending cuts with the nations defenses getting the most lattitude.

Tax system is a joke.............half the country is paying no taxes but all we hear is the "rich" aren't paying their "fair share"??

Redistribution of wealth (raising taxes) is not the answer and will only result in disasterous consequences both economically and socially as people will only stand for their hard earned money being taken to support parasites for so long before the country becomes divided beyond repair.

You have to wonder if that isn't what some out there are striving for.

A combination of many factors, union was a part of the problem for sure. The biggest issue was management and their in-ability to change.

Take the Pontiac line which is now gone, what happen? The cars did sell right? Wrong they sold pile of them. Yes union cost, cost of labor to build them here. That would be wrong also. Almost all of the line was imported. The line died because building them off shore and importing them killed the profits.

GM was heavy into building SUV's and trucks, and gas prices went sky high.

Many many bad business decisions, buying Hummer, canceling the EV1 project.

You would have to work in a plant for a week to figure out.

Well Clinton took over in a recession also, he raised taxes, how did that work out?

When have we cut taxes and raised enough money to pay down the debit?

For the record I want the money to go towards paying down the debt. I don't want any of it redistributed.

Your tax system is a joke line is wrong. Those people do pay taxes. I bet those people drive cars(gas) which is taxed. Smoke, which is taxed. They still pay FICA. Let's get the truth out their.

Now I will say I support a flat tax and everyone pays the same percent.

Ford hasn't changed much in who knows how many years and they sell more trucks then anyone.............but I never worked an assembly line so I guess that doesn't matter.

Same union also, so what's the difference? It has very little to do with assembly lines.

Same way tax increases always work............we were back in a recession by the time he left.

Clinton enjoyed major military spending cuts under GHWB because the USSR fell apart...........computers and the internet were born and oil was selling for less then $10 a barrell because OPEC was a mess.............gas was less then $1/gallon and no wars going on to mess up the globe.

Income tax germ.............they pay no income tax. I lose 40% of what I make BEFORE I have to pay all those extras that get piled on so I'm not about to shed a single tear for someone paying a couple bucks on their cigarettes and gas.

    THAT..........is the truth.

As of 2002 GM had almost double the unfunded pension and retiree medical costs of Ford.............who the heck knows how much worse it is now.

If you are paying someone else's credit card bills did you really spend it? You seem smart, figure it out ;) .

obama isn't the one pissing and moaning, you are.

Your last president failed at every business that he was responsible for running, including the country. I have no problem owning the consequences but guys like you don't want to own bush and the bag of **** he created. You want to pin it on obama. Those two wars that obama didn't start, you think they might cost a few bucks? The financial sector meltdown and mortgage default crisis that obama is paying for. Who is owning those consequences?

Where did end up after Regan tax cuts? In a recession, how about the Bush tax cuts? In the great recession.

After Regan cut taxes did he ever have a balance budget?

It has everything to do with it............crying the poor working man song and rallying against the "evil rich guys" turned around and bit you in the arse when union job salaries got exposed. People who were normally on your side said screw those guys when they saw the yearly incomes people were crying about.

Unions were exposed as part of the problem by "real" working class folks who don't take kindly to rich fellas patting them on the back claiming to be fighting the same fight.

Unions found out the hard way that there are a LOT of people lower on the ladder then they are and in this country today it doesn't take much to get horded into the "evil rich guy" club.

They are caught in their own net.
