I watched it twice. Other than reading his cue cards, what did he do?

I don't think it was disdain.

A mistake was made. Big deal. The orchestra admitted to thinking Obama had finished speaking.

Really? You guys don't know that you don't talk through the national anthem? Particularly at an event like this???

There's a protocol to follow to toast the queen, but we can't expect the Messiah to know this, since he apparently can't even remember that it's 2011 and not 2008. At least this time he didn't give gifts of ipods with his speeches or DVD's that don't work in the UK.

It is embarrassing, but not surprising... :(

The look on her face was priceless...

She's thinking, yeah...you have me an iPod with your speeches on it, sent back the Churchill bust, gave the prince a DVD collection, and now this.

Maybe in his mind he was saying something so monumental that it warranted the national anthem playing in the background..

It is embarassing and pretty easy to figure out why really.

    1. Toasts to the queen are to the point and brief. They are not speeches.
    2. When the national anthem play you shut up. Plain and simple. Like all the people whistling and yelling during our national anthem, so disrespectful. FYI, you cheer after people.

That's what you get when you force someone who admitted he wasn't ready for the job to learn as he goes.

He's a moron, plain and simple.

He's a weak person (mind and body)........smoking, coke head, bowing to other leaders and apologizing for the US as if we are part of what's bad in the world.

Worst of all he is weak in spirit........no willpower to pull ones self up and make a better life through hard work and dedication. Just take from others because they are "fortunate".

Every time I hear that idiot speak about how "lucky" I am to have what I do it makes me want to puke..........especially coming from a loser like him who was handed everything he has in life because the guys pulling the strings behind the curtain figured he had the right look at the right time.

1 more year of this disaster.

obama may be a bad president but I often wonder, where was all this sturm and drang when that clown bush was president. He couldn't even say a complete sentence without embarassing himself let alone his actions, and inaction, that cost people their lives.

Why is a loser republican president ok but not a loser democrat president?

I bet Obama wins in 2012, who is going to beat him. The Republicans have shot themselves in the foot.

Remember his auto bailout team. I read post after post on how it would not work. Well Chrysler just paid back 100% loan. Gm has the loan paid back, but still government owns shares.

Gm is hiring 2500 workers before the end of year. All three will be hiring around 60000 more workers the next three years. Not only did he save 100,000 + jobs, he is going to create 60,000 + jobs with this policy.

Someone tell me one policy Bush passed that created or saved jobs?

Racism is definately part of it...though many would not want to admit to that. Could you amagine if Bush were a black guy with everything else being the same?

A loser Republican was not tolerated in Bush. He was relentlessly ridiculed by the liberal media and by others.
