    Great backround story, condolences to you and yours. It's a meaningful way of dealing with grief as you celebrate hunting with his equipment. Well done, nice tat too!

    Don't forget to tell your loved ones you love them and how much they mean to you because in the blink of an eye they can be gone.




    You said it. We pray they're safe while we're gone & they pray for our safety every time we go. Our season started October 1st here in Michigan & at my hospital, we've had several tree stand injuries, but 3 people that will never be in a tree again or have meaningful relationships with their families again due to death or brain injury. Your story (as sad as it is) is exactly what many of us need to hear! Thank you for sharing it. My oldest brother (my hunting buddy) is coming today from out of state & he might get one of those "What got into YOU?" kind of hugs. The way you wish you could hug your brother one more time.
