I retired from law enforcement 5 years ago and the child abuse cases still haunt me to this day. I did however get an excessive use of force complaint file on me by a pedophile. I accidentaly hit him upside his head with a metal clipboard. He's still in prison and still carries the scar! Those clipboards can be slippery!
This is a great post LC. I have tons of respect for what you do. My best friends 2 yr old daughter, is one of those kids that has walked the hallways. She has just finished treatments this last past month, it sure is nice to see her home.
