    I looked at alot of weapons today but I focused on these 3:

    Kel-tec 3AT's
    Bersa 380CC
    LCP 380

    After all was said and done this gun felt the most balanced in my hand and I purchased it:

    Very nice!

    I have one on order as we speak ( been on order for like 4 months :( )... If you don't mind me asking.... What was it running at the show?

    Congrats on the step and best wishes to you and yours!

    Looks like a great PD handgun, watched a review for this gun on Guns and Ammo classics and they were saying that it is a very accurate gun for the size.

    Finch.."Could you make a mental note on the prices of the 3AT & the Bersa for me"

    I looked at a ton of gun shops that were selling at the gun show...almost all of them were univeral in their costs for the 3AT and Bersa.

    3AT=$249or so
    Bersa=$289 or so

    Thanks....thats not bad prices at all!!!

    I was telling Greg in your other thread that I thought the LCP was too big. Maybe I'm thinking about a different gun b/c that sure is a little fella...just like he had pointed out to me. :D

    What would have been choice #2 and why? Did you see Trader Jerrys there?

    I can fit one of those in the change pocket in my jeans.. :)

    Very easy to carry all day for sure. Good choice.

    Do you carry on your dominate side both when carrying in the front or back?

    Yep, always. Inside the waist and in the pocket.

    I was taught that way in Military Police training, as well as by my CCW class instructer who was former military as well.

    If you draw correctly for self-defense purposes, the tip of your barrel can clear the holster and instantly turn toward your assailant, allowing you to fire from the hip if necessary without having to pull your weapon across your body before it's pointed in the right direction.

    Finch, I saw Trader Jerry's. My second choice would have been the Bersa. The 3AT just felt like a little cap gun in my hand. I couldn't make it feel comfortable. I was close to buying the Bersa but felt like the Ruger felt a tad better in my hand, and was smaller.

    Hadn't seen that wallet holster before. I have a friend that has one similar to this. I think its a great idea.

    Good choice. Be sure to hang on to the little sucker when you shoot those first few rounds. There is no gun there to take the recoil so the kick is a bit surprising at first but is easy to control once you get a feel for it. Ruger also makes a little magazine clip extender type deal that lets you get your third finger on. I got it but honestly it hardly makes any difference.

    Thanks Chris. I plan on shooting it on Tuesday morning. I have a question about the trigger. Since it has no safety, after the first round is loaded through, is it ready to fire or do I have to "prime" it by double pulling the trigger? Thanks, I thought I read that in the instruction manual.

    Once it is chambered it will shoot until the clip is empty. There is no safety. The pistol has a really long trigger pull that takes moderate pressure compared to most hand guns. You can choose to carry without a round in the chamber as a safety but you would have to engage the action then fire in an emergency. Once you feel the trigger pull I think you will feel pretty safe walking around with a round in the chamber. On a side note, when you carry there is no need for anyone to know. Never show it off or take it out unless in a life threatning situation and you will never have to worry about and accident. Ofcourse at home a gun safe with quick access would be the best option.

    you'll love your LCP. my dad and brother both have one. We just picked my brothers up a couple months ago for $275. Guy actually had a couple in stock. Make sure you get a couple clip extensions, they make a huge difference.
