I'm sorry, I just realized you had been responding to me on your other posts but I didn't see them.

When you first plug in the SD card it should pop up on the desktop. It will probably say unknown if you haven't named it yet. If it doesn't pop up on the desktop you can click on the finder in the tool bar and it should be listed on the left side. If it doesn't pop up right away in either places, unplug it and plug it in again. Also, make sure the software is up to date. When I had the old software I had troubles reading the SD cards when I plugged them in for some reason. If none of those three things work I would guess something is wrong with the card port. It really isn't that hard to transfer images. If iPhoto automatically opens just close it. I think mine used to do that. If you get as far as opening the files in the SD card, right click or Control + click to open a menu on the desktop to create a new folder. To copy all the images you have to do kind of a slow double one the picture you want to start with them hold the click on the second click and drag to the picture you want to end with. That will highlight the pictures you want, then just drag them to the new folder. To delete them you have to drag all the pictures to the trash can on the pop up desktop tool bar and them empty the trash. I've found that you have to empty the trash before you eject the card or it will not delete the pictures from the card. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions I check back this time and try to help you further.

Just make folder on the desk top and drag them over in it. I go through 1000's of trail cam photos every month and have folders for each camera with date going back for years. After uploading to photo bucket I store them on an external hard drive.

Awesome idea... No idea why I haven't thought of this. Will be creating folders for each camera tonight!

I used to make a folder for each cam but now I dump them all in one so that way I can select my "pro bowl" pictures easier. I limit myself to top 10% of pics to the probowl (usually closer to 3%) then at the end of the season I take the top 10% of the probowl and copy them to the hall of fame folder:)
