For you country music fans... Thursday, Halloween night, Florida Georgia Line had a concert at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Brian Kelley, one of the lead singers, walked into Buck Stop Archery on thursday afternoon and bought himself a new Mathews Creed from Pete. He got it all set up, and hung around and shot with the guys and talked hunting for a while, pretty damn cool! He sounds like a super nice guy and he got a real slick setup to take back down south with him. He posted shortly after on the FGL facebook page "thanks to Pete and Buster at Buck Stop in West Dundee IL for setting up my new sick Mathews bow". Super cool! Wish i would have been in that afternoon, i did go to the concert that night though and it was a great one!
That is pretty neat. I once saw Bob Weir (guitarist for the grateful dead) at a water park I used to work at. I was his cashier. Didn't say anything to him.
They just played the County Fair by my property in Oct. We went and saw the show. I don't know if I'd call them "country" but it's Pretty cool. I'm more of a traditional country type of guy, but I do like a couple of their songs. My kids like their stuff and that's fine with me. It's fun having a brush with fame now and again. Cool that he threw you guys a bone on Facebook. I'm sure that cranked up your website views.
