Moved a few months ago and have been watching this guy walk the back of my property everyday. He has been growing nice and is the biggest deer so far I have on camera. I go and check the cam today and his whole left side is missing. I guess he gets a pass for this year but this is disappointing cause this cam is 100 yards out my back door and would minimize my walk this season. Oh well, if it was supposed to be easy, everyone would have a trophy hanging on the wall. And I still have another cam to check this weekend at my other spot so hopefully I have some nice pics there I can share.

That's odd. Makes a guy wonder what happened.

There is a big body spike that I have on camera bullying every other deer. He pushed this guy around last week, so I have a feeling he may have had something to do with it. So basically the spike has to go this season lol.

Man that is a bummer. But don't get too down. You never know what might show up come late October/ early November.

Ouch!! He must have felt that. Possibly a car accident or hit it on something.

I am not getting down on it. And I am looking forward to seeing what does show up. The bright side is he gets another year to get big.
