This is a bit unnerving

I work at the same machine shop as my dad. I had to go to a customers place for a bit and I drove his truck there. While I was on the way back he called me. "Can you hurry back I need my truck" he said. I told him I was just a couple minutes away. He met me at the front door and told me he had just completely lost his vision in his right eye and had to go to the eye doctor. He has Glaucoma and we thought this was the cause. He called me while I was at football practice with my son and he said he had to go to the hospital for tests because the eye doctor said he has a heart murmur and a clot that stopped blood flow to his eye. This could have caused a stroke. All he knew at that point is he could have a bad heart valve.

I have been waiting to hear back from him since 5:30.

His brother recently had a stroke so he is trying to be as proactive about this as he can.

 

Scary man! I'll be keeping you and your dad in my prayers.

I guess the blood clot was right behind his eye but he has his vision back. They think medication is the best thing right now for his heart but they will keep an eye on him. This could have been a lot worse.

 

Glad he got his vision back, Hope they got him straightened out now.
