Perhaps a bit dramatic.. my wording.. but come on. How did this guy with the big smile and no other credentials get the nod as president. Germany.. France.. and Britain are largely laughing at his weak spine. The best was when he told muslims as a whole that we Americans are not at war with you.. America is not at war with you. Mr. President.. I don't think they care if we're at war with them.. cause they are certainly at war with us. Not all muslims of course.. but a good portion are. Don't fool yourself.. even the friendly countries harbor the terrorists.. and they know it. I'm trying to give him time.. watching his every move.. hoping he is just walking softly and carrying a BIG stick.. but more and more everyday.. I just don't think he has a clue. He wants America to become just that nation that sits next to Zimbabwe on the U.N. floor.. not the leading nation it needs and should be. The U.N.'s gonna get us killed unless we lead it.. cause Europe's scared silly of terrorism. If not us.. than nobody will step up. He now plans to start and cut our defenses. Our military. Luckily.. I also heard some quick thinkin' Senators who were not named physically wrote him a letter and briefed him on the insanity of that at this point in time. But who knows.. what good or bad will come from that. While Bush was a moron.. and a Texas cowboy when it came to diplomacy.. at least he had a spine. I fear the rest of the world will look at our new president as just that "nice guy". And that's not what we need as a leader right now. How many presidents were allowed to accomplish 50% of what they promised before entering into office? This Obama guy,... I say he will accomplish 50%. He will instill hope. A lot of people are gonna be hoping for the end of his term. The "change" part,... well, we will see what changes.
For decades we have bailed out Europe. World War 1 saw 116,708 dead American Soldiers and 205,690 wounded. World War 2 saw 416,800 deaths and nearly 680,000 wounded. I turn on the television and MY PRESIDENT is apologizing because we are arrogant??? How many Americans died on European soil so that the French can still have the Eiffel Tower, How many are still buried in France only to have their graves defaced??? Kim Jung Il launches a rocket and we play paddy cake with our Nato Allies because we are now pussies on foreign policy. Our President can rip on the Special Olympics and it is no big deal to most Americans and we take no issue to the smoke show we just partook in Europe. Reporters in Europe are calling Obama weak. They are saying he is a windbag. We decide we should start decreasing defense spending when the world is taking another turn toward evil and major conflicts are around the corner. Our government is taking over banks with funds that they refuse to take back, the banks don't want it but the government wants control over the financial sector. GM has now become Government Motors, but 18 of the top 23 Obama staffers drive foreign cars. We look to nationalize our healthcare when every country in the free world has failed to improve quality of service in doing so. We are attacking the upper class because we are afraid to tell the lower class that isn't trying to find a job to get off their butts. I got drug tested when I got my job, only to watch my tax dollars go to people that don't have to pass a drug test get money since they don't want to work. My President tries to be a lower and middle class hero saying he will tax the rich, while trying to pass the Cap and Trade bill that will end up costing the average household 3100 bucks a year so that we can put an end to global warming by imposing tariffs on high pollution industries. Our government puts out data that 90% of guns being used in violent crimes in Mexico were bought in the US when in fact it is only 17% of total guns being used, since 68% of recovered guns didn't have markings from here. That is right, a vast majority of the guns being used in Mexico for these violent crimes are not even traced because they don't have markings associated with US gun makers and are not traceable! The world has cried for our help for decades, idiots like Bono have condemned us for not giving enough money to the poor of the world and we have to sit back knowing we have been the most generous country in the history of civilization only to watch the world turn their backs on us when we start to struggle. This is the Change we will come to believe in and this is the man who will turn his back on the Constitution in the end. Be prepared, we are destined for another domestic terrorist attack in a time that we are trying to be friends with those that will never like us or our cause.
He's probably the first president who sealed his fate as a one-term official within the first few months of his first term. I saw this coming...unfortunately, most of my 18-24yr old fellow American's didn't.

I don't believe that NATO is the real problem, it is the UN. GET U.S. OUT OF THE U.N.!!! I think the best thing he has done so far is donate 900 million to Hamas. That was a nice move. I always enjoy paying taxes so a known and acknowledged terrorist group can get some well deserved dough. They might have been running low on rockets and explosives to hit Israel with.
This is a very frustrating topic. We sit here & watch our nation led into ruins by incompetant politicians. And eevn more sad is the american public that put them there, and who are willing to go along for the ride.

Well being 29 I'm a little outside said age range, however I do know a couple 18-24 year olds that I wanted to smack over the head for their vote. Mainly because they couldn't even give me a reason why they voted for him. "He's for change" "He's not Bush"...those aren't reasons....
I would guess most of the people that voted for him did so because they heard it was the cool thing to do!
If I had a nickel for everytime I got a stupid dumbfounded look when I told some Obama yagoff "Not ALL change is productive, bad situations can easily turn for the worst." ANYONE who supports Obama does so for one of few reasons, sadly enough. He is Black, He is relatively youthful, and his slogan is Change. Even now, they still blindly support him, trying to somehow justify how they DIDN'T make one of the biggest mistakes of their lives to vote for him. I always ask Obama supporters if a White man had the EXACT same policies, would he have been voted in....deep down inside they know the answer, which points out the only reason he was voted in. I am not against a president being voted in that is black....I am just against a president being voted in BECAUSE he is black...two huge differences. Give me a common sense, middle ground black man and I'll be the first to vote for him, just not Obama. I think the most pathetic thing is, ANYONE who opposes him will be labeled racist. Not 5 hours after the Mississippi Governor mentioned turning down some of the Federal Aid money because it was going to waste and had too many strings attached and MS simply didn't need it in those areas, his decision was called racist because MS is CLEARLY part of the "Black Belt" where a large percentage of african americans reside and it was meant to further oppress them.....what a joke. I just wish race could be left out of the equation all together, then people wouldn't be so blind to how big of a complete IDIOT he and his plans truly are.
