G5 T3s. They make gaping holes as one would expect. They are compact with little chance of misdeployment in the quiver or while nocked.

I have used Rage 2 blade on deer and bear with great results, i did not like the o-ring retention system and walking through the woods but the new shock collars are better. I have tried the killzones also and find that they are similar in performance to the rage and the retention system is a bit more foolproof. Gaping holes which look like you threw an axe through them with great bloodtrails.

I tried Killzones last year, after years of Slick Tricks and Thunderheads. I got a pass through on my buck and he went down in sight, around 40 to 50 yards away. I will continue to use Killzones for now. The wound was huge through the lungs, and the blood trail was heavy after about 30 yards.
I also like the 2" Ulmer Edge, though I haven't shot it. The ability to lock the blades closed for practice is a great idea, and now it's offered with a steel ferrule. Its in-flight profile is as small as any out there, so I would imagine it is an extremely accurate and quiet head. Just a little pricey.

Blood trails were the same as the rest, those things are rigid, I would not want to get hit with one.

Wasp Jak Hammers for the last 15 years. Never had an issue with. Big wide blood trails with a dead deer at the end of them. I've shot at least 4 deer with the same broadhead and could still use it. For me they have been rock solid and as long as they make them, I'll use them. Look up and read the reviews on them.

I have heard good things about Rage.. large cutting diameter, but only 2 blade. I used to use spitfire and they did ok on deer and no 0 ring to mess with. It really all boils down to opinion.. and every hunter has one and swears by the certain brand they use.

I shoot the 100gr. Rocket Hammerheads for the last 4 years. They make huge entry and exit holes and unbelievable blood trails.

I'm sticking with the G5 T3's for this fall. Shot two deer with them last year both with the same head. Broke the arrow on the second deer and lost the head though. The reason I like them so much is the blades are always exposed so if for some reason it fails to open the blades will still cut.

I shot Shwackers last year and it did well on the two doe's that I harvested. Thinking about trying out the Rage Hypodermics this season.

That's another reason I am trying the Swhackers this season. They have a 1" cut from the 2 breaker blades. So in the , highly unlikely, event that it doesn't deploy you're basically still shooting a 1" 2 blade head. Plus I really like the concept of how they open inside the animal leaving better blades to go through the vitals.

Thanks guys for all the responses. After your answers here and a little research I think I'm going with the cut on contact Killzones.

    Blessings........Pastorjim
