    I am thinking of building an arrow with a higher FOC than my current set up.

    Bow Set-Up:
    PSE BowMadness MC
    70#@ 27.5"

    Current Arrow:
    CX Mayhem Hunter w/100 head
    Standard Inserts, GT nocks, Fusion 2.1" Vanes
    Weight= 416 grains @ 10%

    New Arrow:
    GoldTip XT Hunter 75/95 w/ 125 grain head
    20 grn. Insert weight, Standard nocks, Fusion 2.1" Vanes
    Weight= 430 grains @ 14.6%

    So my question I pose is this. How much difference am I really going to see, if any?

    I think you'll see the difference mostly in tunability and penetration. Not much total weight change so speed probably won't change much. That's a higher FOC than your current but I wouldn't necessarily call it a high FOC.

    Agree 100% I use 100 grain brass inserts to increase my FOC.

    I have mine around 10%. Seem to be hitting the target really well.
