Dont know where or when but would like to in the near future. Need to find a job first of course. Prefer mountain areas with lots of animals to chase. I have a 4 yr business management degree, recent graduate, and my cdl. Any advice or places I should look at. This is going to be scary doing as I have lived in iowa since the 5th grade and now I have a baby and wife to think about.

Is your wife from Osky? If so, is she open to leaving all her family behind?

A lot of it depends on what kind of job you are looking/qualified for. Do a search to find out the geographical regions were you can find the right job based on your experience/training/education then start narrowing it down from there using the other parameters you are looking for! I'm setting my sights towards Indiana or West Virginia when I retire from the Army, since Air Methods covers both states and I will have more than enough flight time to qualify for a position with them! And, I picked IN/WV due to the area/scenery/outdoorsy stuff! lol Good luck on your search man, can be nerve wracking when the family has to get packed up and move.

In that case, North Dakota has the lowest unemployment rate, and eastern Tennessee has the freaking awesome Smokey Mountains. I personally am not all about high cost areas so would seriously look at the Smokey's.

A state with lots of growth should be your first priority. Worry about places to hunt later. IMO

I dont need a high cost place to live. As long as I am meeting my familys needs im happy. Im 23 years old and just finished college 6 months ago so I dont expect a 70k a yr job right now. Hunting isnt a priority either just a major plus.
