My brother's buddy got this picture on his trail camera a few days ago just south of Winter, WI.

I count six and that's only what's in front of the camera.

There needs to be a season on these.....soon.

They are eating something. And no doubt are eating more deer than the WDNR will admit.

It the DNR's population estimate is accurate you have something like 5% of the total wolf population in one picture. J/K ;)

Agreed. In my 8 years owning the camp in Ontario, it's amazing to see how fast the wolf population grew from 2002 until now. With plenty of food, their pop explodes.

Maybe when I come up and try to whack a bear with you in a couple years they'll be legal for me to shoot by then! :D

I simply cannot get enough of that picture Dan. That has to be the best looking wolf I have ever seen.

Dnr has been lying about the wolf population for years. That is nuts. When I shoot a deer this year I'm going to put a camera on it. Just to see.

I see 7 (maybe 8) too Dan-0. That's definitely rough on the deer population no doubt about that... No need to look any further than to see what's happened in Wyoming after they released a FEW in Yellowstone. The Elk herd in the Jackson area went from something like 18,000 head to 11,000 in ten years. My unlce works in that area and counted 97 cows in July and there wasn't one calf to be seen. The wolves have now ventured WAY out of their area and "wolf people" fight tooth and nail to any type of control. It's disgusting actually.

Tons of wolves here, just means I'm hunting the healthiest most elusive whitetail.
