I've lost the bottom of my wader boot while 2 miles from the truck in -10 degree weather. I went out to move decoys for the wind change and when i got back to shore I had ice all of my boots (Hard to move) so I smack my foot against a log and the ice and bottom of my boot broke off. Talk about panic! My brothers had to carry me to the levi and I walked fast to the truck in snow. It took awhile to get the feeling back to my foot, but alls good. I've also lost deerstands. Forgot I had them out and remember years past.
couple cans of grizzly, a knife got left in a gutpile, dropped shotgun shells before and rifle cartridge's and gloves.
I've lost a bunch of weight the last couple seasons. I go from between 170-175 to between 160-165 during hunting season. I loose my appetite and get tunnel vision. I feel like a buck during the rut. I get all beefed up all summer and then loose it all in the fall, only to put it back on in the spring. Anyone else loose weight also?
I lost two easton axis arrows tipped with broadheads stalking corn rows last year. Must of popped out my quiver at some point.
I have lost nothing major, but I have a buddy, who just a couple weeks ago, left his Lone Wolf climber by his car along side the road when leaving after a hunt and didn't realize it for a week. All we can say now is someone had an early Christmas...
arrows, and most importantly, i lost the biggest deer of my life last tuesday. i feel like ****, and almost have lost all desire to go hunting anymore. if it wasnt for taking my 8 year old son out to try to get him a deer with his bow, i would be done. never in 10 years of bowhunting have a made such a bad shot, and lost a deer. not a happy camper, and this was too good of deer to loose. really hoping a phesant hunter or farmer finds the deer. i have let all landowners, and outfitters in the area know what happened.
Just today I had a guy show up at my front door with my back tag with my license in it. Must of come off somehow. I had no idea it was gone!!!!!!!
Just a few of the many items that have ended up in the black hole of my hunting grounds, never to be seen again. Cell Phone Eye Glasses Stabalizer Gloves Numerous deer calls Once I even left my fanny pack with all of it's contents laying on the ground where I park. I discovered it later in the day and had to drive over an hour to retrieve it. Fortunately it was still there. Blessings.........Pastorjim
Had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. It was my neighbor who brought it to me. He found it right on the edge of the property behind their house that I hunt.
Sounds about right. I'm on a greek yogurt for breakfast run and campbells soup out of a can for dinner marathon. Heck, I'll even throw a ramen noodle in there once in a while. I'm ready for change big time!
Somehow it came unscrewed from my bow and I didn't notice it until I got home. For some reason, that particular stabilizer was always coming loose no matter what I did to prevent it. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
