This morning I finally opened up my mail from yesterday. Opened up a letter from my bank (Fifth Third) to let me know that they have listened to their customer's voice and they will now be charging us $8 dollars a month for our checking accounts. Shhhwwwwattt??? Your going to try and tell me that you are going to charge me a monthly fee to use my money to lend out to borrowers with an intrest rate attached to it? Are they freaking high right now? After doing some research it seems that this is common practice. Banks are getting ridiculous.
You can thank liberal Democrats for that. (liberalism is the cause of so many problems) At the heart of this liberal plan is Liberal Barack Obama who signed the law known as the Dodd-Frank bill (named after the two liberal dems) and the other liberal dem D!ck Durbin. Don’t be mad at your bank, Blame liberal Democrats. Then make sure to vote them out of office the first chance you get. http://news.yahoo.com/checking-fees-10-largest-banks-215846890.html
The thought crossed my mind, but you can't pay bills with cash. Seems like cash money is about worthless these days.
We have finally started to move all our money away from Wells Fargo (save one CD). Got tired of going in to have some 'fee' removed. They did remove most fees, but it's not worth having to go in there every month and schedule a meeting with a banker. Then you have to hear every sales pitch they have... They've simply gotten too big for their own good.
Can you say Secular Humanism? It's part of the government's takeover. Never ask of money spent Where the spender thinks it went. Nobody was ever meant To remember or invent What he did with every cent. --Robert Frost
Wells Fargo? I've never been so glad to get rid of a financial institution. Our mortgage was through them and it was one inconvenience after another. We recently refinanced through Navy Federal Credit Union and it's been a dream.
USAA has been great for us... And we are members of a Credit Union. I have heard nothing good about W.F.
Enough talk about a solution to my problem....I want to discuss why banks think and can charge me a monthly fee to use MY money. How is that even possible?
Well, it boils down to the fact that they are providing a service. It's your $$, but they are storing it, securely, and enabling you to use is electronically through the use of a plastic card virtually anywhere in the world. The credit card companies get their take on the processing side, but banks still have costs that go into it. I don't agree with the fee, but I can see why there is one.
Because they can. Back in the early 1991, long before "liberal legislation", I belonged to a bank but all I did was have $60 in an account to keep it open. Didn't reall use it. Then I get a letter saying my account is overdrawn. I do some checking and come to find out, they had instituted a fee for accounts with less than $500. I went in to close my account and protest the "overdrawn" charge. The manager first asks why I am closing my account and I said it was because the bank stole all of my money and then wanted to charge because there wasn't more. she didn't know how to respond so she waived the "overdrawn" fees and I closed my account. Haven't been in a bank since.
I did this for you already. Its possible because of liberal democrats. It’s the CAUSE you and others should concern yourself with. If you want to ignore it, you can expect more of this kind of treatment. The solution is yours to be had this November. In case you forgot the cause of these fees, I will post it again. Fitz, WF is the largest upseller of financial services in the nation. We always called them We'll F......kya Bank. 2L, More and more banks are charging people for using the people's money. I was with a bank with the initials of BA for 10 years while I was in the service. I decided to buy a car and was told by them that since I had never had a loan with them before, I would need a co-signer. I opened an account with a credit union that day with $25 and applied for a car loan the same day. By the time I got back to the unit they had called and asked when I wanted to sign the documents and receive the car loan. I've been with that credit union since then.
