Check the pawn records of the surrounding pawn shops. Try to see if you have anything that shows the serial numbers on anything that was stolen. I hope the police came down and dusted for prints.
Sometimes police departments have police officers work in school as resource officers. If any of the surrounding schools have those type of officers, maybe drop down there and give them a heads up just in case they hear rumors of anything while in the highschool.
I would check the pawn shops for those type items by Tuesday or Wednesday. Hard for exact item match to appear in a Pawn shop once they do you can inform the police. I bet when and if you find the culprits they will turn out to be neighborhood **** birds.
I feel for you big time! very similar thing happened with my truck last year. My neighborhood was getting worked pretty hard for a few months. Almost once a week on my way out of my neighborhood on my way to school I would see peoples car doors opened. I looked into some options and showed the old man some sensors that activate a little box that you can place by your bed that sounds a lot like a quiet door bell. That thing has saved our bacon a couple times over the last year. I will look up the company tomorrow but they where fairly inexpensive. Also a company named Zoombak (spelling might be off a bit so type that into google) makes small trackers that last a couple days per charge.. put that in a sock or something then stuff that into a small bag with some stuff that would appear worth something, examples would be kids binoculars or maybe an old BB gun scope etc. and just leave that bag in your vehicle and replace the Zoombak with a charged one every couple nights. there are tons of options you can set for the Zoombak. The ones in my truck and my Dads truck are set to send a text message to our phones if it gets further then 500 yards from my house, I get a text every morning on my way to school or work.
