    I no sooner get rid of a bunch of beaver and muskrat and the otters show back up! Shot 3 tonight. That last one was huge. Hopefully, they'll be floating tomorrow or Tuesday and I can remove their carcasses. On the brighter side, there's nothing like target practice with live targets to keep you in practice. Anything within 200 yards is dead meat!:biggun:

    Nope, but animals that are nuisances to land owners may be dealt with, just cannot harvest their hides (per local DNR officer).

    They beavers and muskrats I understand. Do Otter's do anything that's a nuisance other than eat fish?

    approximately 20 lbs a day per otter, they can decimate the fish population in no time flat. With those three alone, this 7 acre pond could be totally void of fish by the fall.
