I just cannot understand what thought process these kids could have had to lead these four kids on full D1 athletic scholarships to resort to armed robbery like that... Not only were they dismissed from a full ride education, they are now (soon to be) felons as well. I mean really breaking into someones home while they are there and robbing them at gun point? Unbelievable. Hopefully these kids change their lives around for the better and learn from such a mistake.
Its going to be a long time before another opportunity like this arises for any of them, you all most have to wonder if this self destructive activity is their way out of a bit more responsibility than they are willing to accept.
All things being analyzed, the only thing I can think of is that those guys were somehow involved in drug trafficking or were on something serious(drugs) when they committed the offense. Those guys need to be hammered to the full extent of the law for bringing in a gun and robbing someone. No sympathy. I hope they all spend 5-7 years behind bars.
Keeping up with tOSU is hard work Say what you want about MI, but those kids would not even be allowed in school
Everyone knows the thugs of MI go to State..... Didn't they just have 2 more kids arrested the other day?
I will say this again, you bring a gun into a persons home and you rob them, you are friggin piece of crap. Those guys deserve zero sympathy.
I agree lifes about choices and they made one ,now pay for it you gutless little *******s rot in hell
Funny... this is the first I've heard of it. You mean it hasn't been plastered all over every sports media channel on planet earth 24/7? Surely it's more serious than a tatto? What gives?
This is like saying the Bill Clinton and Paula Jones case was about adultery. Don't trivialize it. If Auburn's coach had been fencing the stolen goods for these guys, it would have made better news.
This is inaccurate. The tat5 was all over the news when it was uncovered that these kids sold their stuff. It was everywhere.. Long before Tress came into it. Some universities make headlines, some don't. Anything that happens at tOSU, Notre Dame, USC, Michigan, Texas makes big news because these schools have the largest fan bases. Like it or not those are the schools everyone cares about... In most cases it is either people love them or hate them. Had that armed robbery taken place at Notre Dame.... It would have been HUGE news. Since it was at Auburn, no one cares. Just like I said in the other thread... All these media outlets want is a little dirt on a big name so they can run with it.
No the part about trivializing it and the Clinton analogy. Of course had Chizic tried to cover it it would have made more headlines. It is the fact that it did not make headlines is all the proof one needs to know it isn't what happens, it is where it happens at. Did you guys hear about the Iowa State player who assaulted a peace officer a couple days ago? No? Bet you would have heard about it if it happened in Southern Cali.
A decent sized earthquake over shadowed it... tOSU (your reference point) was bigger because of Tressel allowing the guys to play in the bowl game, you know the media has been waiting to bust his balls ever since that decision. This thing at Au BARN, could not have happened to a nicer coach,. Sad for the kids and their piss poor decisions but we all make decisions. I also cannot believe you left BAMA off your list of large fan bases, I think that was a shot...lol
No, no, no, I left Bama out because they are in the SEC and everyone expects them to commit infractions or cheat, so when they get caught it's no big deal! . Earthquakes don't scroll across the bottom of ESPN or grace their webpages.... BTW it was the NCAA who allowed them to play in the Sugar Bowl.
If the poor kids would've had their National Championship rings to sell this all could have been AVOIDED!!! It's probably Tressel and Terrell Prior's fault!!! :D
HA HA HA TOUCHE...TOUCHE I know ESPN does not update that other stuff, but i can assure you down here (in my best souther drawl) we were talking about it alot. Down with au barn...chizik is trying to build too fast and it is coming to light, shady days ahead for them. Yes the NCAA allowed them to play, but it has put a negative light on what ya'll are doing right now, because as we all know, hating is an approved method against really good teams/schools. By doing that, you gave everyone (non tOSU fans/media) an easy way to hate on ya'll. I heard poeple say it was because you guys knew you had no chance against an SEC team if those guys did not play, when in actuality, loosing those guys would have made it hard to beat any top 25 team...that is hating, and I am sure you agree. By the way, why did we not make national headlines with our (BAMA) rabid fan poisioning the trees at au barn..if you did not see it, google it, pretty funny/sad all at the same time. It weill also give you guys some awsome ammo against bama.
