I have it for mine. Clip it onto my belt during 3d shoots and use it to clip to my ezhanger when up in a tree or to the seatpost on my stand.

I never had a problem, or even heard anyone have any problems with odor. I have never been a deer, because it is destroyed.

First time I ever cam across one was on my way to a hunt with a buddy of mine in South Carolina in October of last year. (It was still in the mid 70's, low 80's at the time) Hop in his truck, look down and see it... Asked him what it was and after he got done laughing at me, he stated, after today you will understand what they are.

Well three hours into the hunt, I knew exactly what they were and why they were so valuable. That day was the most miserable hunt I have ever been on. I got home and the wife asked how my hunt went and if I seen anything... I laughed and showed her my neck and arms... I said "with all the smacking and swinging of my arms, I would have been lucky if a deer got within 100 yards of me."

Now, No matter what, I will always have one with me even if it is going to be cold... Never know.

One of the very few products that works as well, if not better, than advertised.

I was wondering, do they work well when your walking non stop? I take a walk every night now and i live in farm country, so the horse flys are everywhere. I was thinking of buying one to help make my walk better. Any thoughts?

    Notice:

Don't buy the one's with the turn knobs. The knob has a slight spring action and they will turn on by themselves and run down your butane. I bought one that I now I only use it for the backyard because of that.

I'm getting one for the bear hunt I'm going on in September. I was wondering if the Thermacell will do any good as far as keeping ticks away, or just mosquitos and such. All these stories about getting bitten by a tick and then developing an aversion to eating meat really worries me.
