    Purchased a thermacell after going crazy in a tree the other evening. I used it last night and WOW. Not one mosquito or other flying insect so I could focus on hunting. Love this thing. Thought I would share it with you.

    Gotta have it! Dropped mine coming out of the woods one night. I searched that night, but didn't find it. Went on a hunt the next morning and got tore up by the bugs. As soon as the hunt was over I went back to the other spot and looked until I found it. Now its one of the first things out of my pack when I hit the woods!

    Just under $20 refills about $12-15. No noise no smell, at least that I can smell

    Has anyone ever seen a reaction from a deer downwind while using one?
    Is the earth scented better because its a cover scent?

    Had several deer standing firectly to the South of me last weekend... The Thermocell smoke was blowing over my right shoulder, travelling over my left shoulder and right at the deer !! I literally could see the smoke drifting right at them and sinking in the air... The deer stayed in that oak thicket and fed for over 45 minutes!!!!!! Never blew, never looked up, never spooked...

    Have hunted with them for over 2 years now and will leave the woods if I forget it.. Because I know I can not sit still without it and would nowhere be near the fun hunt should I have had it..

    Never had an issue with the smoke or smell. I bought the earth scent for this year but dont think it makes a difference.
