I think this is a great Idea! I have not had the chance to use my thermacell yet this year and some people say it gives off a scent but does'nt affect deer?.? So this looks to be a great alternative!! Whatcha think? I will be buying some as soon as I use up the pads I already have wil let you guys know what I think then!!
I think it was bowhuntingfool who had a idea of taking regular pads and pouring your favorite scent on them and let it soak then put it there.
Yeah thats a good idea also! I cant figure out how to post pics here, but thermacell actually makes pads that have an Earth Scent built into them for hunting! Thermacell also makes something called a therma-SCENT...its basically a little platform that sits above the grill for $10 or so. Might be something to look into if anyone has the idea of using there favorite scent??
