My wife suprised me with a new Polaris 700 atv for Christmas this year. I already had a much smaller Honda, but that's another story. So my son-in-law comes over to look at it yesterday and before you know it, we are both out there riding them around in the field. I see him start to do donuts in the snow and I'm thinking; "yeah, that looks like fun." I do a few and am just getting pretty confident when all of a sudden I hit a dry spot. I knew I was going off but hoped the thing didn't roll over on me. It didn't and I popped back up off the ground, trying to be cool about it, looking none the worse for wear. But I got to tell you, today my hip hurts, my back hurts and I've got a huge bruise on my shin. No more donuts for me. Like I said; "there's no fool like and old fool! Blessings.....Pastorjim
I've had the same thing happen to me before but I still didn't learn my lesson. I'm much too young to not do donuts . It's hard to explain the feeling of lying on the ground helpless as you see the 4-wheeler rolling towards you.
Bruised egos health fast and the lingering bruises on our bodies reminds us not to do even stupider stuff as we get older. The price we pay for wisdom !!! :P Glad you are Ok. Tim
good thing you fell on your blessed assurance :D Thank God you are ok ..... an accident on a 3-wheeler changed my life forever 11 years ago ...
I'm going to have to confiscate that ATV from you to ensure you don't hurt yourself. Just shoot me your address and I'll come take care of that death trap for you! lol...
Wait until you learn how to drive it on 2 wheels only, and I'm not talking about a wheelie, I'm talking about either just the left or right side Glad you didnt die !!
I have a titanium plate and 8 screws in my ankle from an ATV accident. Slow speed roll over while shed hunting. It was ironic that I got hurt while riding slowly, because before the accident, I used to tear around on that thing like Evil Knievel. lol Ride safe.
