Well last night is going to be one of the Bowhunt or Die record books for sure! By far the biggest deer ever killed by anyone on our team. Haven't put the tape to him yet but he's well into the 190's and may touch 200. Huge mass and lots of tines. The footage is unreal - 25 yards thrashing some brush/grass in a swamp when he gets shot.

Pretty stoked to bring you guys the story! Good trophy photos coming soon and we're going to try and air this show on Monday evening. Just need to get some footage here so we can get working on the edit.

Hell of a way to start off the fall whitetail season!

I'm willing to bet that it's Graff, that was an amazing setup in the last episode! Whoever it may be, that is a brute!

Who's the dude that shot a monster a few seasons back and started gagging right away? I always laugh so hard when I see that. Up until now that has to be the biggest buck shot on the show.

I don't really count that one - he was a tool and the footage was awful. That was a mega deer though.

Seeing that deer on the FB live got me thinking about a question, if and when can we get the BC to screw their heads on straight and ditch the net scoring? Troy's deer is a hell of a buck, yet the way they score they subtract everything that makes it a cool buck. I have never once met a hunter that gives a rip about net scoring. Why are "we" (they) deducting from nature? If I designed a buck and it turned out a little weird, sure go ahead and give me a deduction, but they already don't score high fence deer:lmao2:

Just my two cents. Great buck!

It is an awesome buck for sure! But, it's got the dreaded Zaft common base G3, so they'll have to deduct for asymmetry. I agree, they should give credit for total inches, period.

If a rack is being scored as a typical, they will deduct any side to side differences, and abnormalities.
If being scored as a non-typical, everything counts.
