Two months ago I looked at the schedule for 3d shoots at my club and picked out a date for the first 3d shoot I will ever participate in, AUG 2nd. After practicing whenever I was able to between work, my sons baseball practice/games and other family stuff, I thought I was somewhat ready to shoot in it. On my way home from shooting I heard a snap somewhere in the rear of my truck. When I got home I inspected to find that my rear leaf spring mount had busted and the leaf spring is now pushing up against the bed. Well at least I got some practice in and I should be good to go come hunting season. End rant.
I wont be able to get the parts until next week. We have a second vehicle but I didnt want to leave my wife with nothing to drive all day while I was away. She keeps telling me she will be fine but I just dont like leaving her with nothing to drive. Maybe we will see what the morning brings.
