That would suck. I'm glad the mineral I use in heavily bear infested Ontario only attracts whitetails, and tons of them, even with its scent.

It's odd to me that she's rubbin her face and neck on it. Must like the scent or something

Yes, it really could suck. Bears hanging around at your mineral sites this time of year would be bad for deer cataloging. Does avoid bears when they have fawns.

I am told bears are spotted from time to time in my main test area, but I have not seen any in person or on cam yet.

That's crazy, all we use is Monster Raxx and the bears don't bother it. Was this the first time she was there?

Checked my one of the cams today and there were 2400 pics of deer since last Thursday. Its set at 1 minute.
    Greatest. Mineral. Ever.

No, 4 hours a day. It was a two shot burst. I changed it back to one shot today.

In actuality, its much more than 4 hours a day. Even though its set at 1 minute, its not going off at exactly one minute when a deer is in front of it. Its a minimum of 1 minute and then it has to be triggered by movement. Sometimes its 2-3 minutes before it snaps a picture because the deer's face is burried in the mineral or just standing there not moving.

So, 8 hours a day? Probably not. 4 hours a day? Not likely either. Probably more like 5.5-6 hours a day.

Probably likes the fox pee! I see a lot of those pics and vids here.

Bears do like apple though, and being oil based likely makes it even more attractive.

I used to put out windfalls, 25-50lbs at a time. They'd be gone in a week. I did it for awhile, then put a cam on them... was a flock of turkeys pecking them down. Them critters will fool you.
