Seems like you are making a lot of assumptions about what GZ was thinking and how he was acting. Did I miss some information somewhere that said he was in interrogation mode? You seem to have a pretty strong bias on this which seems a little odd since none of us know for sure how the evenings events transpired. But, to assume that GZ is at fault just because he approached TM in some fashion is an oversight. The fact that he merely approached a man in no way is to imply that he was doing anything to make him guilty of a crime. It may not have been the best choice available to him, but it was not necessarily a poor choice either. If (this is just a "what-if") TM had intentions of committing a horrific crime that night, and GZ's actions prevented it, would your bias be different? Would GZ then be a hero?
I would have to strongly disagree with you there too. Zimmerman walked away as the operator told him to and Martin doubled back and attacked him from behind. As far as I know, there were no threats made with the gun until it was actually used as Martin was pummeling Zimmerman into the concrete. That's the point of self defense, concealed carry, and why the police didn't charge him.
What exactly is your business there? Why are you smiling? What have you done? Stay right there, the police have been called.
Cooking s'mores, I am smiling because I am on vacation, I have eaten too many s'mores. The DNR has inspected my site I am good.
This is what zimmerman claimed happened. There is no evidence yet that I have seen that proves this is not what happened. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Oh but there IS plenty of evidence. You have to actually research and read the police report and listen to the call. The Sanford police have corroborated Zimmerman's story and it matches along with the recording of the call between Zimmerman and the dispatcher. The autopsy report says that Martin had drugs in his system and damaged knuckles. The recording of Zimmerman and the police dispatcher checks out. Zimmerman got out of his vehicle to see where Martin was going (since he was walking) and to relay a street sign to the dispatcher. Here are a few key points from the 911 call released by Sanford police: At 2:07, Zimmerman tells the dispatcher, “He’s running.” At 2:09, you can hear a car door open and an alarm begins that is undoubtedly the “door open, keys in ignition” warning on Zimmerman’s truck. At 2:13, you can clearly hear the car door slamming shut, and the alarm stops. At 2:17, Zimmerman’s voice wobbles and he starts breathing heavily into the phone, indicating that he has started running. At 2:22, without any prompting other than the aforementioned noises and breathing, the dispatcher asks “Are you following him?” to which Zimmerman responds, “Yeah.” At 2:26, the dispatcher says, “Okay, we don’t need you to do that,” to which Zimmerman responds, “Okay.” Zimmerman proceeds to give the dispatcher his name. Then he says, “He ran.” Zimmerman can still be heard breathing into the phone until about 2:39, at which point the heavy breathing stops entirely. A very calm and collected Zimmerman then proceeds to give the dispatcher his own information, directions and a description of his location for another 1 minute and 33 seconds. That's when Martin attacked him from behind and started bashing his head into the concrete. Two witnesses have already corroborated with Zimmerman's story saying they saw a lighter skinned man on the bottom and an darker skinned man mounted over him punching him in the face "MMA style." The timing of the witness calling 911 corroborates that Zimmerman was on his way back to his vehicle and was jumped. I'm not sure what other proof is needed, but this is all public knowledge available for anyone to go read/listen to.
But most get their info from the evening news that seems to be trying to convict him instead of reporting the facts. I don't know what happened but I haven't seen or heard anything that would make me convict him of murder. Burden of proof is on the prosecution and there doesn't appear to be enough for me. Reasonable doubt. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Correct, the sad part is that the media chopped the 911 call, got politicians to become vocal, and stirred up an entire community. You are right, we will never know exactly what happened, but the evidence that has been provided (this far) shows no reason to dicredit the entire Sanford police department, Zimmerman's story, the dispatcher's story, and the witnesses stories. I guess we just keep watching and see what happens. Regardless of what all the kid had been recently suspended and in trouble for, he had plenty of time in his life to turn things around and Zimmerman will forever be remembered by what happened regardless if he was completely innocent or not.
NBC chopped the tape but not much has been said about that. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
He has demonstrated to the court he is honest and has not been caught lying Zimmerman takes the stand, I would give him the benefit of the doubt, but we all know he's not going to take the stand.
Absolutely true but that doesn't make him guilty of murder. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Hmmmm.....this still seems suspicious. Just know that we will be watching you Gary. We will be watching your every move in that pink hoodie. If you have done anything, anything at all, we will know about it and we will show up with skittles. Mark my word.
Someone alert Hooker there are Camo cargo shorts being worn in that picture. White Nike swoosh on the shoes black swoosh on the socks. Way to switch it up Germ I mean 10 pages is pretty good....it's not 39 pages is all I'm saying!
So the prosecution puts the medical examiner on the stand and she says his wounds were not life threatening, but she was appointed by the state attorney that is overseeing the prosecutions case. Of coarse she's not going to contradict the prosecutions case. Top that off with here being a little on the shady side, you have yet another failure on the stand in the prosecutions case. Oh wait, she didn't even examine Martins body, and I'm pretty sure she never actually saw Zimmerman so I'm not sure why she would even be involved. Expert witness I guess, but if so, you would think they could have found one with a cleaner record.
