Hate to be a downer, but has this weekend sucked for anyone else thus far?:bash:

I headed to the lake with some friends yesterday morning and had a rod bearing go out in the brand new boat... That's not too bad, we can handle that. Lot's of friends with boats at the lake and in no time we're getting on a monster pontoon boat with a bunch of people. We do the cliff thing and all that good stuff and when it's time to get off the boat (after dropping others off) realize that my wallet has been stolen. Just under $400 in cash and all my cards, ID's, Hunting/Fishing licenses... everything gone. Pretty upset about that. :uzi:

Then this morning a buddy jumps in my truck to move it and backs into a ditch and tears the front plastic shroud off the bumper! WTF?!?!?:smash: Guess it's a good thing it's a company truck

So, I called it quits early and drove home...:violin:

At least it all happened on a long weekend so I can't do anything until Tuesday... :whip:

Dubbya, I hate to break this to you, but I think you have a lot to be thankful for. If you look at the what Memorial Day is truly about it puts it all in perspective. All it takes is a drive by your local cemetary and view all the flags waving by the headstones. Those flags memorialize the men and women of this nation who made the sacrifice to secure our freedom and way of life. I worked all weekend and tomorrow I have flowers to put on the graves of my loved ones who have passed. Then I have salutes to give to family members who made the ultimate sacrafice during WW II, Korea, and Vietnam. While you can't do anything until Tuesday, why not take a moment and remember those who are no longer with us.

Very well said. You are indeed correct about that, I appreciate it and will do so.

Sorry though bro, that sounds like a tough weekend to me......Yeah, we certainly DO have an awful lot to be thankful for, but no matter how you color it, that sucks.

Yeah, it's less aerodynamic... that means it doesn't go as fast :D

And I just drive it fast, but I don't play bumper cars!
