this wind is unreal every day it's at least 15mph and swirling it has basically ruined the first 2 weeks they should extend archery season in PA another 2 weeks

I agree. I have yet to hunt a "ideal" day this year. So far, I've hunted in pouring rain (first weekend), high temps (second weekend), windy and downright dangerously windy (last week and weekend).

Looks like they're calling for another bout of heavy winds and rain this week. Hopefully its out of here by the weekend.

Whats frustrating is that I'm noticing more rut activity earlier this year than I can recall in years past. I've already found several rubs and and a rub line, in addition to a community scrape being freshened up. This nightmarish weather so far as kept me from hunting as much as I'd like.

There's been a couple of nice Sunday mornings this season, if only we could hunt those days.

Ha, yeah, I agree. Heaven forbid they'd have to put signs up on their farms that say "no sunday hunting".
