I bought a new bow yesterday. It is an Elite Impulse 31 (65#). Along with it, I bought a QAD UltraRest HDX. I previously had a whisker biscuit. It is a really nice setup. Looking forward to dialing it in for hunting season.

You will like the QAD much better than the whisker biscuit!

Great! I hope so. I have never shot or been around many people with drop away rests, so I don't have much experience. I really like it so far!

Primos turkey call and Carbon Express lighted nocks. The nocks are on clearance at Academy for $3.50. If I like em I'm gonna wipe em off the shelf. :woot:

ETA: Watch out, Academy, here I come!

I think the Carbon Express nocks are a lot easier to use than the Nockturnal. However, I did seem to get a bum one that I can't get to work right. What's different? The Nockturnals have a hole you have to poke an arrow tip into and pry it apart to break the electrical contact. The CEs just pull out about 1/8" with your fingers and they go off. I'm wearing a bandage now because I slipped turning off a Nockturnal and gouged a field tip through my fingertip.

Anyone use green vs red? I had the last three green ones in my hand but figured they might be harder to find in foliage. We have a lot of saw palmetto around here which is a yellowish green. I'll probably stick with red but I was curious.

I just bought 3 new sets of broadheads. The first was the solids with 1/2 inch bleeder, they fly very well might be my hunting broadhead this season. The second was the muzzy trocar hybrid didn't fly well. And the toxics, they were about 8 inches to the left and 2 inches high but I held a solid group with it.
