had my first visit to a Cabelas store this week on vacation and was like a kid in a candy store. picked up their rain suede pants and top, a pair of their cami dry-plus silent suede gloves for bow hunting in the northeast this fall, and also picked up some new fishing line for my reel and caught 5 rainbows in Georgia mountains including a 22 incher. On the way back home stopped at an outdoor store in south Georgia and found some of the discontinued outfitter tough camis at a great discount.
Some Danner Pronghorns today....had two new USA Patrioti Cams come in yesterday.....and still may order a Scentmaster Box soon.
a buddy had me @ Gander Mt. today, after the recent thread on here and getting swarmed by skeeters checking cams yesterday, I just had to have a Therma-Cell
Picked up some NAP Thunderheads. Scent Away Gold package to get ready for the season. Trail Markers, and some other odds and ends. Picked up some more arrows for the wife's crossbow.
Not that they did anything horribly wrong but, I ordered a pair of their merino wool fingerless gloves in green and payed for the standard shipping, $5 or $7 can't remember. A week and a few days went by with no order being delivered to my house so I emailed them asking for a tracking number. They responded saying that the green gloves were actually on backorder until mid november and offered me their gloves in dry earth as a substitute. I told them I would take the other color instead, and then as a side note joked about them sending me a free hat to compensate for their error online saying the green ones were in stock. I really didn't expect them to ship me a hat but too my surprise they responded with "No problem, I will have a hat sent your way as well. Thanks." I responded thanking them for the offer and actually told the customer service rep that their customer service was amazing. 3 days later I got my gloves in a small box and that was it. I just don't understand why they would say that then not back it up. I'm not upset that I didn't get a free hat but am upset that I was lied to.
Got married this summer and have to be a bit more frugal with my money than in previous years. I just made my first hunting purchase, a stick of Ever calm and going to buy my tags today. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
stealth cam picture viewer.. got it last week.. so far it works awesome. wish the button click noise was a little quieter
