Let us know who that works out! I tried to put my blind on a shelf pack and the blind sat to high. I ended up going with a Beard Buster Blind Hog Pack several years ago. Hands down the best pack built specifically for hauling a blind and all the extras around. I can get a blind, 3 chairs, 2 decoys, shooting stick and various other goodies in it no problem! The price was right at $70 too!
I wanted some new smaller glass for whitetail hunting and some broken country spot and stalk ...found a good deal on these Zeiss Conquest 8x32 these are a lot of glass for the money. Clear, bright, very wide FOV and they are fairly compact/ light weight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had a few of these. When you re-adjust your seat, those little plastic feet stay stuck in the dirt and then the rodeo starts! I flipped over backwards, bow in hand, with a Magnus Bullhead nocked up. Tore a hole in my blind and landed less than gracefully. The chairs took a one way trip to the landfill.
I've hunted for several years with it no problem... Killed my deer w a bow last fall while sitting on it, did you have the ones with a swivel seat? The swivel seat eliminates the need to adjust the legs
Ordered my HHA Kingpin today with light and 4X lens kit! Can't wait to get it and try it out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The kingpin is an amazing sight. But if you go directly to a 4x lens you will see a ton of pin movement and it will be very annoying. I know very good target shooters with long stabilizers and heavy weight that don't like the float they see from a 4x. I can't imagine how tough it will be for a hunting rig. Not to mention it will fog and be very annoying in stand. While I was waiting for my target bow to arrive I had my hunting bow with my target sight and a 4x lens. The only reason I think it was somewhat manageable was my 15 inch stab w/ 6 ounces of weight and 65 percent let off. Even then it was still annoying. Just a heads up. Edit: Unless you have very good eyesight you most likely will need a clarifier which means a new peep as well. I have 20/20 vision and was able to see my target very well with a 4x lens. I broke down and bought a set of Muzzy MORE turkey heads yesterday. I was pretty excited about the concept but I'm not too sure about the product. I had read several bad reviews and most of them are spot on about the blades having a lot of play. I'm not sure it will have any actual affect on anything with the short range shot that they are intended for. I'm headed out this afternoon to see if I can find out. Another Dozen Gold Tip Kinetic XT 300's, 20gr Gold Tip FACT Weights, Onestringer Arrow Wraps, and 3" Green Norway Fusion Vanes
I loaded everything up and went for a 2 mile hike and everything rode fine other than the mule being out of shape. I didn't do anything custom yet, just removed the shelf and strapped everything on. Only planned on going about a mile but the woods were full of mushroom hunters. (fixed image, really tough to do from a phone in the blind)
Not sure about anyone else... But going through this thread makes me want to spend money on things I do not need!!
Yea, no kidding. and i already dropped some money this weekend. I bought a "dog safe" raccoon foot trap. to get rid of the pests going threw my trash. I also bought a rinehart 18-1 Target, 6 more 330 Easton Bloodline arrows, Primos Truth Cam 35 Trail Camera, a pack of white blazer vanes, some arrow wraps, a pack of rubber blunts, and a new pack of G5 Montec CS broad heads.
