Purchased a pack of field wipes for my camping trip this weekend to Wayne County IL. We will have a camp fire so I will need to be able to wipe down before I head to the woods. Also purchased a bottle of Code Blue Doe Estrus and a bottle of buck urine.
Just bought a classic block target to set up in the back yard. And now it's suppose to snow damn.....
My new Axcel Armortech came in today and I'm loving this new sight. Also, picked up these bad boys tonight! I shoot 64# but I wanted the Low KE for more penetration. Does anyone know if I buy a practice head it will still work with the Low KE model or just the standard models?
Picked up a prep video on smoking sausage and such but it skipped in the DVD ... dang ... took it back for a swap and ended up with an Elk video called 30 days - all bow. Roosevelt Elk P.NW Area. These boys did a great job, go see it, .. 30 Days. O...back on topic, - shooting, shooting, shooting, shooting some more!
Stopped in at the archery shop, shot the Mathews Chill, Creed, and Bear Agenda 6. Ended up with the Chill and all new accessories. Spent a buttoad of money but was really impressed with the bow and everything.
I honestly had a really hard time picking between the 3, came down to a stab in the dark. After we got it all set up and fired off some test shots and did some minor sight adjusting, ended up shooting 280 fps. Waaaaaaaaaaay different and faster then my old PSE Nova. I only have it set to 65#, so there is a little more speed to be had. I may have to head down to texas this spring and do some hog hunting just to cure the itch I have right now. Girlfriend shot quite a few different bows and ended up deciding the Diamond Infinite was the one she liked the most. Which is great, all set up and out the door it is only $350, making it a great xmas gift. I was really hoping she didn't like the Mathews Jewel, not that she didn't, Infinite just felt more comfortable to her. Plus the fact that there is SO much adjustment there for her to grow with.
