Got the girlfriends arrows cut to length and picked up some 125gr field points to test out. Shot em and like the extra 25gr up front so I'll be buying new broadheads soon.
I stopped by Gander Mountain this weekend and picked up a new Gerber folding saw for my pack and also some replacment blades for a couple rage broadheads I have that had bent blades after killing a deer.
Stopped at the BPS in Kodak,TN and picked up a badlands black jack fanny, UA gloves, and some finesse worms
I pulled the trigger on a new bow, Hoyt faktor 30 29/65 blacked out. Should be here in about a week. I was shooting a bow that was a little short draw for me and I just compensated by have more bend in my bow arm, no biggie. With the reduced dimensions, 1/2# weight savings, and a more proper fit I could finally justify buying a new one, helps that there taking a pistol I no longer wanted in trade as well. IBO is about the same, but with the increase in draw and a slight bump in poundage I should pick up 20+ in fps, not a determining faktor ( see what I did there), but its there so I'll take it.
Bought 4 screw in bow hooks, a new backpack for all day hunts (cheap Walmart one), and a Moultrie Trail cam off ebay.
Bought some Behman ICS Hunter Pro 400s and some G5 T3 mechanical 100 grains. They are shooting pretty nicely so far. Will be picking up a clarifier/verifier this weekend maybe as well
Bought Montec CS broad heads. Ever Calm. Scent killer package and some more Nockturnals. Red this time.
3 Hunter Safety System lifelines, lens hood, lighted nocks, 2 extra camera batteries, a smx 10 shotgun mic, a fluid head, and an extra sd card
Linema's Rope Kit from Lonewolf, and hopefully the Spot Hogg Tommy Hogg I ordered shows up this week!
I upgraded from 75 grain to 100 grain this year, so I bought new Muzzy MX-3 blades and I'm giving the new "Nock-out" lighted nocks a chance. Otherwise, I'm all set.. I just need season opener, which starts in less then a month, here in Maryland.
