ColdGear® Infrared Ridge Reaper® Primaloft® Jacket to match the pants I got on sale at Academy last year.
Some scent killer stuff. Cloths wash, body wash and for ****s and giggles the deodorant too. Even though I smell like roses!
I like it a lot. The zippers are quiet, which was one of my main requirements for this bag. The pockets are conveniently configured for getting things out while it's hanging on the tree next to you, and the top pocket is lined to protects phones and whatnot. I haven't tried the rattling antler straps yet, but they seem like a pretty slick idea.
Stopped off at Cabela's on saturday to check out some hunting boots for the lady. I ended up picking up a pair of Under Armour boots 800gram thinsulate, and she found herself a nice pair as well. She is kind of a cheapskate so I was pretty surprised when she picked out a nice pair at $170 bucks. She is the kind of gal that will get by with the walmart specials. I may have finally convinced her that sometimes investing some good money into something isn't always a bad thing. Scooped up a nice skinning knife for her as well, Alpha (wolf ) model I believe. It is hard to walk out of that place without spending a ton of money.
Just a 0.019" green Tru-glo pin. Needed a 60 yard pin. Finally confident enough to practice at that distance, even tough I'm only comfortable taking a real shot at 40. 50 if I have enough time to really line up the shot.
The closest Cabela's to me is like a 7 hour drive. I wish we had one closer. But then i would be the one saying i can't walk out without spending a ton of money =) It was bad enough when they put a Gander Mountain in town lol. I could do some real damage if we had a Cabela's!
