7 months and I didn’t get my first choice which was a TRD pro . They cut me a deal on this and I couldn’t pass it up.

got two packs of Slick 4 blade Standards and Wac em 4 blades on the way ... both 100grs ... killed deer with both styles in the past, a few decent bucks...BTW, the Slick Standards won the HuntStand BH tests for 2022 .... they have always been one of the best flying fixed heads Ive ever shot ...

For our anniversary my wife allowed me to pick out a new bow. I’ve had the same bow since 2011. It was a 2008 Hoyt Vectrix Plus. Today I walked out with a Mathews V3X 29 in granite. I kept my HHA Virtus, but dressed it up in the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL single pin, tactacam 6.0 ultra HD stabilizer, bow stand, and arrow web HD series quiver.

Ordered myself some nice LOWAs and a Sitka Jacket from https://gritroutdoors.com/ today. Hopefully it's gonna be enough to get me through Fall

Not sure, but I’ll let you know.
Picked up a slightly used Elite Ritual a week ago. Not going to say that it’ll replace my Axius Ultra as my favorite bow, but it’s darn close.
I’ll start out hunting with the Ritual this year and QAD full heads. Ordered 3 more heads and replacement blades yesterday.

I have shot the slick trick magnums from the first day i bowhunted. Tried a couple others in between but they were short lived. I shoot the 125 gr but have shot the 100 too. Both fly great i just like the little extra weight up front.

Got my trophyline platow pack today. Was on the waiting list for awhile. Thanks @Holt for the recommendation. This thing is gonna be nice in the early season. Ill still use my eberlestock for when i need to pack extra jackets and stuff. 68B38C70-8E88-4951-90B8-D6AD1529D40C.jpeg

Which Eberlestock model are you running? Been looking to get a high capacity one for a while( at least so it fits my sleeping bag+rest of the gear, I usually have separate bag for the tent. Been reading a bit on various resources like https://gritroutdoors.com/expert-guides-tutorials/ n stuff, but didn't find anything that caught my eye)

Eberlestock X2. I really like it but for early season its oversized. The main compartment can be noisy (crunchy) in real cold weather.

Hope you like it. I used mine on the last 3 hunts and did everything I needed. It also carry a stand really well on it. Best thing for me is that it's smaller then my last pack, so it forces me to carry less crap into the woods, which is a good thing.

This is what i wanted. The eberlestock x2 is great for rut / later season when i have more stuff. But too bulky and hot when im not even using the main compartment.

I mean, pretty much any somewhat lightweight backpack is crunchy in cold weather(at least in my experience).

Just found out my Benelli SBE 3 20 gauge came in. Trying to get back after the ducks this year after almost 6 years off (can’t believe it’s been that long) and really excited to see what the 20 can do. First Benelli for me, I’ve been an A5 guy forever.
