Picked up a replacement cover for my bag target and some Magnus Black Hornet 125s this past weekend. Currently bidding on a Badlands 2200 on Ebay. Have a couple more days on that one.

As my absorption into the world of saddle bruhs continues, I ordered some amsteel to construct aiders for my climbing sticks and to do rope mods on them.

What sticks are you using. I did amsteel rope mods for my full length Hawk Heliums. Splicing is pretty easy if you have the right size FID. I made three sitting on my couch while watching football.

I have the short and long version Hawk Heliums. I'm probably going to use 8mm static rope to mount them to the tree. I was about ready to order some cam cleats but I'm not completely sure those will fit the hawks real well

Splicing Amsteel would be easier to do than installing a cam cleat, but it is your call. Personally, I love the amsteel for the ropes.

Won the ebay bid on the Badlands 2200 last night. Ended up spending a little more than I wanted buying on ebay. But, it is brand new with tags on it and $100 off in store price even with shipping and tax.

I ordered a Bowtech Solution in Kryptic Altitude with 70 lbs limbs last friday. The shop tech said he had already ordered one in that color a week before, so that will shorten the wait some.
Even though I'm a 27.5" DL the Solution was significantly smoother drawing than the SD was, in comfort anyway. Both of them have quite a build up and then dump into the valley when in performance. It was kind of a tough choice as the SD has a shorter 30" axle to axle vs. the Solution's 32", and the SD has a more forgiving 7" brace height vs. the 6" brace on the solution. But smoothness drawing won out. I think the longer axle to axle will likely make the solution as forgiving as the SD with it's 7" brace height but shorter axle to axle anyway. It'll be significantly better than my Carbon Knight I believe, it is pretty critical to shoot.

Can't believe it's over a month since last post here. Didn't you boys and girls get yo' Uncle Joe stimulus checks yet????

Pulled the trigger on this bad boy today:

Amazon.com: Mr. Heater BOSS-XW18 Basecamp Battery Operated Shower System: Home & Kitchen

I came across this on an Overlander thread. Given that my camper HWH is likely toast (see rant thread) it seems like a good option, and I don't need to fire up the generator or even fill the water tanks to use it. Can even take it when I am truck hunting on shorter trips.

    No more winterizing!

Not sure if you received it yet. But the smooth cycle sold me on the elite synergy I bought a few years back...

The Bowtech system on performance setting is smooth and firm as a 20yo Colombian Instagram model girl's butt. On comfort, it's smooth and firm as a 20yo Midwestern beauty queen girl's butt. One's a little more finicky and high maintenance but performance is yowza; the others not quite as fun but more stable.

Both probably perform better than we can.

Taking the year off from anything hunting related. Not by choice lol. Wife wouldn’t appreciate lots of stuff showing up while I’m gone.

Yes sir! I’m hoping to be home for Iowa’s 2nd gun season and late muzzleloader but we’ll see. 2022 is going to be a fun year I hope. Planning at least 1 maybe 2 out of state hunts.

7/64 Amsteel daisy chains ... ditched the straps for now. Also bought a 18” EWO ultra light stick gonna use it as a 5th top stick. Keeps the package small and gets me another 5 ft.
