Picked up a Scott Wildcat 2 this morning. I've been wanting to switch to a buckle style release and get away from the velcro. I'll still keep the old trusty release in the pack for backup!

I bought a bunch of these guys today. It'll be getting cold before we know it, and I have bad circulation in my hands when it's cold, so these are a must!

Bought a pair of flannel lined pants, nice and toasty for this weather.

88F5CA8B-64FA-49C8-9EBB-C808707A9F4C.jpeg I always take pride in how sharp I keep my knives. But I slacked lately and went to gut a deer last weekend with a dull knife I had been using at work cutting plastic and cardboard. Never again I said. Got one of these to leave in the pack to use SOLELY for gutting deer. I’ve heard good things about them

You will like it. I have a couple of them. Might need to get some blades soon now that I think of it.

No I haven’t. I bought it to gut in the field. For skinning I use Victorinox 6” boning and a forschner 6” superflex boning knife. I’ve heard people use the bigger havalon (baracuda) for skinning and love it though? Hopefully I’ll be able to give you a detailed review soon!

    Wow, this thread has died!
Couldn't post this yesterday but Camofire.com has a flash sale for OnX Elite (all 50 states) for $59, which is 40% off. They snail mail you a special code.
