Super stoked about a new bow. Picked up a Halon 32 - 6 inch, with 29 inch draw, set at 70 lbs. I put the IQ micro 5 and the QAD HDX rest on it. Started shooting on Thursdays last week. Chrono'ed it at 299 fps with a 431 grain arrow. Looking foward to turkey season.

Went to Sportsman show today and got RaptoRazor saw course and fine blade for 35 bucks and picked up Easton Carbon Storm arrows 5 arrows for 20 bucks price included fletched, nocked, and cut to my length. With me being new to shooting a bow I guess it was a great price incase I mess up a few.

I gave into the hype and purchased a new bow. The Halon 32 better be worth it.

picked up the ALPS turkey vest with the frame and legs for sitting without a tree. will likely use it with the shogun more than a bow but its a good piece of kit for half price. have used the ALPS pursuit X backpack for deer hunting and am sold on the quality and features of their products. now just have to cool my heals for a month until spring turkey opens...
