Grim Reaper Hades 3-blade broadheads arrived in the mail today. These things look wicked. Can't wait to see how they fly.
I had to hone the cutting edge on all of my broadheads. They felt sharp but when inspected under a magnifier with light they were not as good as they felt. Used the same Arkansas stone and honing oil I use for all my knives. I touched the point up also as it was a little blunt.
Well, it really wasn't today, but about a month ago I bought 3 raffle tickets for a benefit for a guy with cancer, and yesterday I got a call that I won a custom rifle built on the Remington 700 action. It is chambered in Rem 7 mag, which I already own, and looks to be a really sweet shooter.

Craigslist. Barely used. Sells for like $50 or $60. I check craigslist and Facebook several times a day. Keep looking and you will find stuff. I also cruise eBay as well. I scored a Stealth cam P-12 for $38 shipped to the door brand new in the box. For craigslist search things like: Deer, hunting, stand, tree stand, treestand, trail cam, trail camera, game cam, game camera. Just try variations. People list things strangely at times. All depends on timing and what you are looking for. Then contact them and try to negotiate. They will come down almost all the time.
I got the UA Ridge Reaper Gore Tex suit for Christmas from the lady. With a good base layer its not too cold, fits well, no pockets on the pants and kinda noisy.
A nice pair of Browning waterproof insulated hunting boots came in the mail today. Rubber lowers with leather uppers, slightly used but look new. eBay find for $40 including shipping. Also got a new scope 3-9 X 40 with rings for my new Jackal bow which should be here next week.
