Anyone else a fan? Show drives me nuts with all the terrible decisions they make but they keep it exciting enough. Any wanna be zombie killers out there?
Agreed. Now if we can get them to off Merle all will be right in the world. I was so pumped when Rick finally killed Shane. I was going crazy the first season as they drove 1970s RVs and pick up trucks yielding pump shotguns while they passed by brand new army humvees and dead soldiers holding assault rifles....ever heard of upgrading in life? lol
Im a big fan. I am not the SyFy type person, but this show is so much more. A couple of gripes though is the weaponry knowledge by the shows producers. One time Carl was picking off zombies with a pistol at was like 100 yards with absolutely no problem. Another time, during the season two finale, the Santa Clause looking dude shot a pump shotgun about 20 consecutive times without reloading. Dont even get me started on the guy yielding the crossbow everywhere he goes.
It's hard for me to say this but, My name is Fletch and I am a Walking Dead fan. It has been 12 hours since I got my last fix. At this point, I have no hope of shaking my addiction.
Walking Dead is family TV viewing night at my house. Yes a bunch of the things they do are stupid, and some of the stuff is not very accurate, but I love that they are willing to do what many other shows or movies find as Taboo, not to mention you never know who they will kill off next.
I think it will be Daryl. BUT Glenn now has good reason to murk his azz. Also, I'd like to see Beth (Herschel's youngest daughter) make a man out of Carl! :D
I like the show, yeah some off the weapons usage is a little far fetched but a good story. I think the black chick is going to kill the Governor and take over the town of weirdos.
Just wow. Anybody catch the mid season finale until February last night? I just finished it up on the DVR. These writers know just how to keep you clueless. Thought for sure this mid season lapse would bring the end to either Merle or Daryl.... Governor blamed both of them and trailer for next half of season shows both alive (Daryl for sure). The direction of the show has completely shifted gears from the fear of how to live in such a world of monsters, to revealing the true monsters are simply other people.
It sounded like Daryl is going to try to bring Merle into the group. Didn't you guys here (I think it was Glen) in the previews, "What is he doing here?" The governor is just pissed that Merle lied to him about Michone(sp). She was supposed to be dead but showed up to kill him. Guess I'd be pissed too.
me and my buddies are so addicted. We go to the extreme to make sure we are all back to the dorms by 8 to watach it every sunday night. I think rick and the group are gonna go back in and rescue daryl and merle. Daryl cant die though. Febuary is too far away. Cant wait!!
This show is awesome, I watch it every week. I saw a picture of Darryl and the saying "everyone picks on the redneck until the zombies start taking over" under it, damn straight.
Going to admit, I have several friends who talk nonstop about it. They're women so I played it off as Guiding Light or Days of our Lives type stuff. Seen this thread and reluctantly asked one to borrow the 1st season DVD set. Watched it this past Saturday afternoon/evening and was at Wal Mart 30 minutes later and bought season 2. Had a complete Season 3 marathon Sunday so recorded them all. Just got done watching the finale and dammit, I'm officially addicted.
Me and my roomates caught up and watched the last 5 episodes tonight. Now I'm angry and need to it to start up again. Sent from iPhone
