Then I guess there was no need for either side to donate, but they sure did.

If the overall majority of people were mad enough that they had to force a recall then a commercial should not change their mind.

I just don't buy it that walker will win because of money.

Posted from my phone so please excuse my brevity.

Bruce, not every state can even have recalls. Illinois only approved of a recall amendment in 2010. (even with our history of criminal convicted governors) Heck, Blago had an approval rating down to single digits and it still took a criminal indictment to get him impeached. (couldn't recall him)

Anyhow, I think recalls are allowed in only about 20 states. It is very rare to have a governor actually recalled. Maybe not so rare to attempt to recall one. I know some people are attempting to recall our current Gov. but I doubt it will go to an election.

I think it takes 900,000 sigs for the recall, so that is not a majority. They are going after the independent voters, I agree the lines have been drawn, but a 5% shift could make a difference.

I don't know who can or can't but I would not call an attempt to recall common place.

The scary part if he gets recalled is that organized labor still has the kind of power that can recall a governor.

It only takes 500,000 signitures to get a Recall going in WI. Heck the Peoples Republic of Madison has over 1M people alone.

Recall Santa, I didn't get what I wanted! :dan:

To me it's not about labor or corporations power. Because corporations have them beat. It's just about rights and what the government can and cannot do.

That boy even mailed me in NY request for money to fight the fight. LOL No, I didn't send it to him. Got enough people after my money. I kid you not.. I get calls from RNC daily. Calls from Buckmasters weekly. Calls from Republican senatorial committee. and on and on and on. There's all these calls from people claiming to be something like "The Responsible Committee to ......." It's unreal I'm on every do not call list in the world Where I went wrong was to send money on a few occassions to the RNC. Now they won't leave me alone. I just check caller ID now and don't answer... or I pick it up and say hello.... hello... hello and then hang up.

    Walker won 53% to 47%.

The first of only 3 governors ever facing a recall to survive it.

Many analysts have called it as a labor union vs anti-labor union referendum and it may be a barometer for the whole nation on this issue.

Well they had a vote on this issue in Ohio and it went down. If you voted on walker for that one issue, well that nuts. You have to look at his entire body of work.

What happen with the 4 senate races?

Sounds like three of the senators have kept thier seats, with one race is still up in the air with the incumbent in the lead.

Or we can also so, no way can reason and sanity lose. Good for him. The press, the squeeky wheels could not bring him down. Refreshing for a change.

What a great win for WI taxpayers and hunters. The liberal tantrum was crushed.

Way to go Scott Walker.

Then how did Owe bama get to be president? Barrett only spent about 50% of what he recieved in contributions to his fund. So the money talking point is a non issue. Barrett used Walkers policies in his city of Milwaukee and knew they worked. The unions knew this and didn't trust him to revoke Act 10.

I agree 1000%. I find it funny how all the LIBERAL TV stations littered the airwaves with this for DAYS and when they found out Walker Won, not even 10 secs of airtime. What a Bunch of WUSSIES!!
