Cass Creek has come out with a new quality predator decoy that produces not only predator calls but also dispenses scent. This gives the unit three ways to help the hunter lure in some of the most difficult creatures to bring in to a call, like foxes and coyotes. This great new unit is called the Waggler. The base looks like a small hill of dirt and has doors in the bottom where you can store all external parts while travelling between hunting areas. There is even a strap permanently mounted on the bottom to make the Waggler easy to carry. Three "D" cell batteries supply all the power for the base unit. The decoy part of the unit appears to look like a squirrel tail and can be operated to give four different types of movement: constant motion, waggle, jerky, or random. The rod on which you place the furry decoy is adjustable so that you can alter the appearance as needed. There are 10 sounds that can be used from this unit. There is a high quality speaker that will send out these sounds to a range of about 100 yards. Of course, predators can hear them from even further away with their superior sense of hearing. The sounds you get to choose from are: female howl, coyote food fight, beta male howl, house cat, cottontail distress, baby crows, fawn distress, hare distress, fox pups, and jackrabbit distress. These are some of the more common sounds used by most predator hunters. A unique item is that you can play two sounds at the same time which could lead to a more realistic presentation. The smell is permeated by placing a cotton swab soaked in your favorite scent into the scent chamber and a quiet fan will project the scent out into the air to entice the predator even more by appealing to a third sense! I have saved the best item for last. The Waggler also includes a small remote control device that can completely operate all three parts of the unit: Sight, Sound, and Smell! All four sight movements, all ten sounds, the scent distribution fan, and, of course, the volume can be controlled by the hunter using the small remote unit.
