What is normally in the Pleural Space? Certainly not air, is it? Must be some sort of fluid if there is much space at all.
Pretty much what I was getting at...but I just don't know how much space is created (if any). It seems more plausible that people are shooting really high and going above the spine or hitting the shoulder head on and not getting into the lung cavity.
I think I may have misunderstood your original question Caleb. I think there's a small space between the spine and the lungs and either guys are putting an arrow there or they are not hitting it where they thought. I just don't see how an animal can live if it gets an arrow put into the lungs, especially if you get a pass-thru. Blessings..........Pastorjim
If they deflate not enough for my 5 inch cutting mechanical heads baby!!!! hahahaha! In all honesty I don't feel the lungs would deflate enough to allow a broadhead through without making contact with them or the spine.
Shwoosh---------> Y'all just flew right over my head with that one. Nocking another Arrow and walking South--->
Do you have a pic of one to share. I have seen a few but all looked too high for lung to me. Of course that is without knowing the entry angle.
