... will these things never end? I just watched one of these reality shows...well I didn't watch it all because it was stupid. But anyway.... the show was called "The Amish MAfia". And these guys are swearing, locking people in silos, sending them away to Ohio until things cool down an on and on and on. No FRIGGING way. Who makes this crap up... and why does TV air it. Dumb... just Dumb. I've know a few Amish folks and been around them. This is just not right that this show would pile on these hard working people. Not my cup of tea to live their life..... but damn... just because you don't like a horse and a carriage doesn't give you the right to defame a lifestyle. This is just pure bull****. Amish people do understand Bull****.
never saw the show but they do put stupid stuff on tv.... watch MTV for a hour... if you can stand it
I'm thinking we need to send Buckeye and the Siman Brothers to mess with these dudes. Things aren't adding up and they can't be legit.
The worst part is, there are people out there watching this show(Amish mafia) and they actually think its real. Blows my mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its just New York amish that are woosses down here our PA amish are bad azz, chevy truck driving, AR owning bad to the bone MFers.
Its all acting by ex-Amish. The show is staged. Real Amish are much less interesting, though there is some weird stuff going on in that community (rapes, murders, beard cuttings). Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Its the perfect made up show ever. Amish dont get to see it so they cant protest it! Very horrible work though. I would think they would put some thought in it and try to make it more realistic or believable.
It just goes to show that networks will put absolutely anything on if they think someone else might watch it. If people quit watching all that crap then maybe it'll go away.
Amish are just like you and I. Some hardworking and honest. Some aren't. Some family oriented and loyal. Some aren't. Some law abiding. Some aren't. Give me 20 random Amish and 20 random non Amish and present them all with an ethical dilemma such as getting to much change back or fibbing on taxes, you'll get identical results
